The Sports Museum is an extraordinary non-profit that represents the very best in community outreach. Housed on Levels 5 and 6 of the TD Garden, we have more than a half-mile of exhibits celebrating sports in Boston (and beyond). In addition to being a museum, we leverage the power that sports and athletes have in our culture to motivate at-risk kids to participate in transformative educational programs.
The Sports Museum consists of a half-mile of exhibits at the TD Garden, the home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. The exhibits celebrate the history and the character of Boston sports, including the teams that play in TD Garden and the others that make Boston the envy of the sports world.
During your visit to The Sports Museum, our Museum Assistants will bring you to Level 9, the top floor of TD Garden, where you will be eye level with the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics championship banners. You will also be guided through The Sports Museum, which is located on the Premium Levels 5 & 6 of TD Garden. Here you will see the treasures that we have on display evidencing the rich heritage of Boston sports and the influence of sports on the social history and evolution of Boston.
Item Special Note
Due to construction taking place at TD Garden, The Sports Museum will be closed from June 1, 2019 - October 1, 2019. There will be no access to the museum during this time.
Please check the website and social media accounts before visiting as the museum may be closed due to TD Garden events and holidays. The Sports Museum Tour is not guaranteed daily.
Pass is valid until 5/15/2020 and is for one-time use only. Certificate must be present in order to redeem and must be collected by a staff of the Sports Museum.
