Item Description

Boeschen Vineyards' flagship wine, their 2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, is a very limited bottling made exclusively from estate-grown fruit. This wine is crafted in an Old-World style, seeking balance and complexity, and blended with the other estate-grown Bordeaux varietals. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak and then one additional year in the bottle. Only the highest quality grapes are chosen for Boeschen Vineyards wine, and even then only the best lots of young barreled wine are selected for final bottling. This 2016

Pair this wine with a lovely outing: you and seven guests are cordially invited to a private tour and tasting at Boeschen's St. Helena location with the winemaker, Doug Boeschen, as your host. Dougs first introduction to the wine industry came through working with a vineyard management company, M & L Vineyard Management, in Napa Valley. There he discovered a love for working with vines and learned many of the principles that now guide his farming at Boeschen Vineyards. His winery experience has come at many wonderful wineries, including Sequoia Grove, Spottswoode, and Chateau Mercier, in Bordeaux, France. Tour the winery and estate gardens and, of course, taste the wine in their unique underground cellar at this gorgeous family-operated winery.
