Ocean advocates and animal adorers alike, this experience is for you! Delve into the world of marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation during a VIP behind-the-scenes tour of The Marine Mammal Center. Your group of four will visit areas closed to the public.
The Marine Mammal Center is nestled in the Marin Headlands in beautiful Golden Gate National Recreation Area, just minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, in Sausalito, California. Guided and inspired by a shared vision of a healthy ocean for marine mammals and humans alike, The Marine Mammal Center's mission is to advance global ocean conservation through marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation, scientific research, and education.
During your behind-the-scenes tour of The Marine Mammal Center, your guide will share stories of patients treated at The Marine Mammal Center, describe the tried and true recipes that volunteers use to nurse these animals back to health, give you the inside scoop on innovative technologies utilized at The Marine Mammal Center, and provide tips on how we can all play a part in protecting ocean life.
Winning bidder receives one (1) gift certificate valid for a behind-the-scenes tour for four (4) visitors.

Item Special Note
Expires May 1, 2020. Behind-the-scenes tours are offered at 12 pm and 2 pm on select days, and topics vary throughout the year. These 30-minute walking tours are designed for participants ages 7 and older.

Certificate(s)/gift card(s) will be mailed to the winning bidder at the close of the auction. All certificates expire May 31, 2020, unless otherwise stated in writing on the certificate or gift card.
All non-certificate items will be available for pick up only (unless specifically noted) at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center beginning Wednesday, May 22, during administrative office business hours, Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM - 5 PM, or by appointment. Items must be picked up by July 1, 2019. Items are not available after that date.
