Item Description
Memoir Writing Class
Writing in Moments ~ how to write quick short memoirs.
Up to 8 people
This class is perfect for those wishing to get started in memoir. We each carry memories that can be valuable to our family and friends ~ how do we begin to capture them so that they are readable, relevant, and succinct?
Bid on this class and bring a group of eight for two hours of exploring the many ways to approach memoir writing. By the end of the class, you'll have an idea of what works for you, a tool-box to use in future sessions, and a system for making writing part of your life.
Kat Fitzpatrick has an MFA in Creative Writing from Solstice Pine Manor College in Boston and a BA in Journalism. She has written across the spectrum from memoir to humor to reporting to creative nonfiction. She loves helping others open up to their own writing styles and aptitudes.
All proceeds from this auction benefit the children and diverse programs of Honolulu Waldorf School including our tuition assistance program.
