American Airlines award miles may be used for any flight on American. The miles will expire if not downloaded into your AAdvantage Account. If you do not have one, you can sign up for a free account. Once deposited into your account, the miles will not expire AS LONG AS THERE IS ACTIVITY in your AAdvantage account.

Blackout periods, including holiday weeks and 5 days prior/after holidays. Reservations are on a space available basis. additional guests beyond the two are not permitted. Certificate expires May 10, 2020.
American Airlines flights come from in the form of 60,000 AAdvantage miles. If not downloaded and with activity in your account, they will expire April 3, 2021.
