Item Description

Take a step back in time at the Dinsmore Homestead.  This package includes a family membership good for up to six people. Membership provides tours of the house,  discounts to special events, and 10% off gift shop purchases.

Includes Dinsmore Merchandise: two mugs and a book of Verses and sonnets by Julia Stockton Dinsmore. 

The Dinsmore Homestead is a unique historic site where visitors can learn what rural life was like in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Nature enthusiasts enjoy the hiking trails developed in cooperation with the Kentucky Nature Conservancy and the Boone County Parks Department.  Inside are the original furnishings. Out buildings are original as well. One of the earliest dwellings in Boone County. This area was crucial to the early migration into the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Bidder will be responsible for shipping/mailing fee, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS and billed at standard industry rates. Items cannot be replaced if broken, lost or stolen therefore tracking and/or insurance is advised. Alternatively, local bidders may make arrangement for pick up from KYSO office in Newport during regular business hours if preferred.
