Item Description

Includes 1-7oz box of Granite State's Delicious assorted Chocolates to eat now, and a $15 Gift Certificate to Granite State Candy Shoppe to buy more candy for later
The Granite State Candy Shoppe located in Concord, New Hampshire was established and managed by the Bart family in 1927 where they have been delighting customers for three generations. Today, the same homemade chocolates, candies and nuts are prepared daily and available to everyone on the Internet. Peter, the founder of the Granite State Candy Shoppe, came to Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1909 from the Greek Island of Lesvos. In Lawrence, Peter found a job as a candy maker where he learned the trade and honed his skills. Several years later he moved to Concord, found an old building on Warren St and started making candies the old fashioned way. Two sons, Costa and George, took over when Peter retired, followed by grandsons Mike and Jeff. In the time honored tradition, Peter's grandchildren still use many of his original recipes and candy making techniques and equipment.
