Item Description
2 stunning pieces of Heather's pottery inspired by nature. This stoneware is functional as it is beautiful.
Artist Heather Rousseau creates nature inspired functional stoneware in her home studio to add "a little beach" to everyday living.
Mother of 2, she has a Masters Degree in Marine Biology. Her love for the outdoors, particularly the seashore and its critters, is the inspiration behind every original design.
Honing and perfecting her talents on the potter's wheel since 1998, the self-taught potter introduced her Blue Crab Line to the public in 2005. She continually expands her existing Lines while developing new ones, like the mermaid and sea turtle. Heather's pots remain thrown, embellished and glazed the old fashioned way - one at a time by hand - making each pot truely unique.
