Nicolette followed her passion 21 years ago and began her career as a Hair Stylist. After receiving a license from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, she continued her education with Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica CA, focusing on precision hair cutting. From there she acquired a stylist position in Nashville, closely working with the Bumble & Bumble product line and continuing advanced education for styling and texture cutting. This led her to being a Bumble & Bumble Network Educator for 10 years.  Along with creating all shapes and texture through cutting hair, she also loves working with color.  Nicolette has had the opportunity to work with a variety of color lines and techniques, becoming a Certified Colorist with Aveda, Redken, and Framesi.  

Travel has always had a huge influence on her life and work. In 2012, Nicolette took a year long personal journey through Thailand and India, where she focused on healing and self-care practices.  Through deepening her practice of meditation, Yoga and Ayurvedic medicine, she felt inspired to someday open a salon where she could focus not only on hair, but an all over sense of well-being.   

After 21 years of working in three amazing salons located in Pittsburgh, Nashville, and Richmond, Nicolette has come full-circle back to Pittsburgh to open Mandala Wellbeing Salon. By using O&M COR color line along with Certified, clean, organic products, she is able to provide the same beautiful results without the harsh chemicals.  Combining this with years of hair experience and a peaceful space, Mandala is sure to create a refreshing salon experience.
