You and your guests will enjoy an hour long guided tour of our permanent collections. Founded in 1876, our world-class collection showcases more than 2,000 years of human creativity. Our landmark building holds works of art such as painting, sculpture, decorative arts and architectural settings from Europe, Asia and the Americas. We aim to bring the arts to life, making the experience of the Museum surprising, lively, and always memorable.
Your tour will be led by one of our Museum guides. Tour topics include but are not limited to: Highlights, American Art, Impressionism, Modern & Contemporary, Asian Art, Arms & Armor, Women in Art, Religion in Art, Period Rooms, and European Art.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your tour to check your belongings at the complimentary coat room and collect your tickets at Will Call from the admissions desk in the West Lobby. Your guide will meet you at the Membership and Information kiosk in the West Lobby.
