"Criss-Crossing" Color etching, aquatint & soft ground.

Linda Adato, born in England, studied at Hornsey College of Art, UK. She immigrated to the US in 1962 and received a BA & MA from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has exhibited her prints throughout the United States and abroad. Among her awards are those from the National Academy of Design, Boston Printmakers, Audubon Artists and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. Her work is in the collections of the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts of The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, British Museum, Duxbury Art Complex Museum, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Mississippi Museum of Art, New York Public Library, Newark Public Library and other institutions. She is represented by The Old Print Shop, New York, NY. Adato served as president of SAGA, The Society of American Graphic Artists, from 2007 to 2010.
