Item Description
Go behind the scenes at the New York Public Library for an exclusive one-of-a-kind visit to the library’s Manuscripts and Archives Division. This after-hours tour for 8-10 people will pull back the curtain on a rarely visited section of the library. Hosted in a temperature-controlled room in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building and led by Michael Lannon, Acting Charles J. Liebman Curator of Manuscripts, this unforgettable experience offers an up-close-and-personal look at several of the first books ever published, as well as glimpses of unique and fascinating correspondence by some of history’s greatest writers. Enjoy a private viewing of a specially curated array of archival materials on an agreed upon topic (e.g., Publishing & Technology, Marginalia, etc.). Item subject to mutual scheduling.
