Item Description

This is a HUGE limited edition 9 1/2 inch FRED STONE plate titled SAFE AND SOUND . This beautiful plate depicts the special bond that exists between a mare and her foal.

The mare depicted in this plate was actually stolen while in foal.  Read the facinating story in the picture listed.

The foal depicted in the place is sired by the great Secretariat. 

This lovely plate is the third in the series HORSES OF FRED STONE. This is truly a wonderful Horse collectible as Fred Stone is the master equine artist!

1 signed and numbered (no. 3701) limited edition collector  plates by famed horse artist Fred Stone.  "Safe and Sound" was a foal sired by Secretariat.  Read the story of her mothers theft while in foal!  When the Mother was recovered and the foal delivered, the foal was named "Safe and Sound" because  of the ordeal.
