Item Description
Sheshadri Mantha family’s recipes are in demand anytime he and his wife, Melissa, hold a gathering of friends. In fact, certain friends request his tomato ginger dahl for Thanksgiving. Sheshadri created Amma’s Kitchen a self published book of recipes for a friend who was doing an extended meditation retreat in the desert. She begged him to write it all down for her and teach her how to make the dishes. Many copies of the book have been requested over the years and gifted to friends.
Sheshadri, a Plugged In Alumni Dad, is graciously offering to host a cooking class for 6 people at their home in Natick, MA. A variety of vegetarian dishes will be prepared together explaining several Indian techniques like blooming spices, pressure cooking, and making custom spice blends. After the meal is prepared we will enjoy the feast. Copies of Amma’s Kitchen will be available for each family attending. Follow up Indian grocery tours can also be arranged.
