Item Description
What would you give for a private lesson with two-time Tony Award winning composer Adam Guettel?
He's just written the most luscious score for To Kill a Mockingbird, giving the Mockingbird a voice in the most successful play in Broadway history, which earned him a Tony nomination. You would have an exclusive opportunity to fine-tune your musical voice as a composer, lyricist or performer in a private session with Adam Guettel.
Guettel received two Tony Awards for his 2005 Broadway Musical The Light in the Piazza, and is one of the most gifted and versatile American composers and lyricists working today. He's worked and recorded with musical luminaries like Audra McDonald, Kelli O’Hara and Renee Fleming. In concert with his professional career, Guettel is equally committed to teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
He's led master classes and seminars in musical performance and songwriting - which he considers an important complement to his work as a composer -at NYU, Pace University, DePaul University, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Emerson College, The Boston Conservatory and many more.
No matter where you are in your artistic process; whatever voice type, whatever music you enjoy composing, and at whatever level you enter the studio, Adam Guettel will take you from where you are!
The winning bidder will be treated to a two-hour private session either in his Vermont studio (from September 15 to Oct. 15th 2019), or in his New York studio (from December 2019 - March 2020).
This amazing opportunity is priceless.
