The Captain Lord Mansion is open year-round and has 21 meticulously decorated accommodations designed to offer guests a serene interlude, but the inn is filled with modern touches such as WiFi, Cable TV, individually controlled heat and newly installed, whisper-quiet, wall A/C units. Each room is uniquely furnished and tastefully decorated with luxurious baths, all with heated floors, some with jetted tubs, jetted showers. All rooms have gas fireplaces, king & queen size beds, flat screen TVs, modern A/C units and a seating area. While the Inn is located in a quiet residential neighborhood away from traffic and street noise it is also conveniently located only several short walking blocks from the Port’s Dock Square where shops and restaurants are located.

Each morning the Mansion’s talented breakfast cooks prepare a different family-style, multi-course breakfast which is served in the atmospheric Country Kitchen and the beautiful Dining Room. Each breakfast is a celebration of freshly prepared food using only the best ingredients such as freshly-squeezed orange juice, organically-farmed eggs, organic yogurt and Maine maple syrup.

Return from your day’s activities to find a variety of cheese, crackers, fresh fruit and sweets served year-round in the Country Kitchen. In the warmer months, beverage choices are flavored iced-coffee, iced-tea and lemonade. In the cooler months, you’ll find “Swedish Glogg” (a non-alcoholic mulled cider and cranberry juice) which is kept simmering in a crock-pot on the antique stove in the kitchen.

The Hurricane Restaurant serves only the freshest seafood and their founder and first executive chef, literally, wrote the book on lobster. Steak and chop lovers always find something on their menus to tempt them, and they also feature satisfying vegetarian dishes. Their wine list has won numerous awards and their seasonal Wine Wednesday program is legendary for its quality and value. Hurricane’s specials change daily to reflect the freshest foods available and their sugar-happy, in-house pastry chef will delight your sweet tooth. The Hurricane dining room has an iconic river view.  The restaurant is open from Memorial Day until December 15th each year. 

Seashore Trolley Museum, located in Kennebunkport, Maine, United States, is the world's oldest and largest museum of mass transit vehicles. While the main focus of the collection is trolley cars, it also includes rapid transit trains, Interurban cars, trolley buses, and motor buses. The Seashore Trolley Museum is owned and operated by the New England Electric Railway Historical Society. Of the museum's collection of more than 250 vehicles, ten trolley and railroad cars that historically operated in Maine were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, as Maine Trolley Cars.  Open daily Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Open only weekend in early May and late October.

Item Special Note

The Captain Lord Mansion's gift certificate expires on July 18, 2022.  

There is no expiration on the Hurricane Restaurant Gift Card.  The restaurant is open from Memorial Day until December 15th each year.

If won by online bidder, item can be picked up in Salisbury, MA or the item can be shipped by trackable mail at the owner's expense.
