SOUTH FLORIDA, THE AMAZON AND BEYOND...

Alan Zaremba is regarded as the most-knowledgeable Peacock Bass guide in South Florida with OVER 27 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.  Alan's unmatched knowledge of Peacock Bass, the waterways of South Florida and specialized fishing techniques will provide you with the best opportunity to catch what is, perhaps, the most powerful and exciting gamefish in all of the United States—the Peacock Bass!   For a majority of the year, Alan offers expert guiding service for Peacock Bass in South Florida.

And if fishing for Peacock Bass in South Florida isn't quite enough excitement for you, Alan spends many weeks each year over the course of several months fishing for monster Peacock Bass, Giant Wolfish, Payara in The Amazon along with Golden Dorado in Uruguay, Rainbow Bass, Tiger Bass and Roosterfish in Central America, Trout and Salmon in Alaska and huge Black Bass in Papua New Guinea!  Alan organizes trips during various times of the year to a variety of locations around the world. Alan has also expanded his trips to premiere fishing locations in COSTA RICA, SURINAME, ARGENTINA and ALASKA to provide you with the opportunity to target multiple species on a single trip!!

Captain Alan Zarembra’s fishing experience and guiding:

As a Florida native and lifetime resident, I have fished the local canals of South Florida for MORE THAN 50 YEARS. My first fishing love in Florida was with Largemouth Bass and I participated in many Professional Bass Tournaments during the 1980's through the mid 1990's.

PEACOCK BASS were first introduced into the canals of South Florida in 1984 and I caught my first Peacock Bass in 1987. Ever since that time, I was hooked!! I couldn't get enough of these exciting fish and worked hard to learn as much as possible about their life, their habitat, their breeding habits and, of course, their feeding habits!! I started guiding for Peacock Bass in 1989 and devoted my interests to full-time guiding in 1991.

I SPECIALIZE IN CATCHING PEACOCK BASS with artificial baits on baitcasting, spinning and fly fishing tackle. Although catching Peacock Bass is the main focus, we also catch Oscars, Jaguar Gaupote, Red Midas, Mayans, Black Acara, Spotted Tilapia, Mozambique, Snakeheads and a few other odd species along with Largemouth Bass, Tarpon, Snook, Jacks and Ladyfish.  I fish for peacock bass in more than a dozen different south Florida water systems. This allows me to change fishing techniques and locations in response to weather patterns and the peacock's own habits so that I can adjust to find fish year-round.

In recent years, I have expanded my fishing service to include exciting trips to fish for many different species around the world in their native habitats. There it is not uncommon to battle many species of fish OF 20 POUNDS OR MORE!! I take several trips to South America, Central America and Alaska during the year to fish for the largest fish in the world and have also added trips to areas such as COSTA RICA, SURINAME, URUGUAY, ALASKA and PAPUA NEW GUINEA to fish for many other species.
