Helen is Park City, Utah based skin-care expert, founder of Helen Knows Best™, and a trained Master Esthetician and Esthetics Instructor with over 35 years of experience.

Helen’s rich career in skin care began under Barbara Salomone at the Conservatory of Esthetics in Chicago, Illinois in the late 1980s.  Helen learned from the most renowned instructors from the U.S. and Europe on subjects including cosmetic chemistry and facial treatments, while actively honing in on her own method and technique. She is an expert in cosmetic chemistry, product ingredient knowledge, techniques for facials, lymphatic facial massage, makeup techniques, sugaring hair removal technique, lymphatic body massage, body therapy wraps, hydrotherapy, manicures, and pedicures. Helen is also the former owner of the notable Nouvelle Femme Day Spa in Chicago, Ill, which she owned and managed for 15 years before relocating to Park City in 2006.

Helen founded her namesake skincare line when, in 2009, she was approached by a private skincare client, an avid skier, and outdoor enthusiast, in desperate need of her help and a product to soothe, heal and protect his over-exposed and environmentally damaged skin. Helen used every tool available to attempt to remedy the severe issues her client presented, however, there were no products in existence that relieved his riddled skin.   Helen had to resort to her training and ingenuity…combining the natural benefits and healing properties of shea butter, essential oils, vitamins, and natural plant extracts, Helen formulated a holistic and preventative miracle, Extreme Weather™ Face Balm.  In little time, her client’s skin dramatically improved.

In addition to her never-ending responsibilities at HKB, Helen also manages the Rain Spa at the hotel Club Lespri in Park City. Helen uses her decades of training and experience when designing her products to gently cleanse, restore, balance and protect all skin-types without harsh damaging chemicals.
