Item Description

Wyoming Western Horseback and Wagon Family Adventure
For 2 Adults and Two Children. 5 days 4 nights at the Bentwood Inn, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, breakfast, wine and cheese daily, plus horseback riding in the mountains and Covered Wagon Ride, Cookout and Western Show.  Remember to Pack your Cowboy Boots!

Step back in time at the Bar T Five Covered Wagon Cookout & Western Show

You begin your western adventure as you are shown the true meaning of western hospitality. Traveling by horse drawn covered wagons you are swept away from the Town of Jackson into beautiful Cache Creek Canyon. Keep your eyes open, you never know who you may encounter on the trail, after all this is the west. As you pull into camp you can smell the sweet aroma of a Dutch oven dinner. Enjoy a savory trail cooked meal. You can return for all you want until we reach the bottom of the pots. The Bar T 5 Band will entertain you with laughter and great hand clapping music. Complete your evening with a peaceful wagon ride out of the canyon, following the setting sun back into Jackson just as the old time cowboys.

Enjoy four nights (upgradable) at the Bentwood Inn, built in 1995, constructed using massive 200 year old logs brought in from Yellowstone National Park after the great fire of 1988. There is approximately 6,000 square feet of luxurious space, including 5 bedrooms. The craftsmanship is remarkable throughout. The 3-acre property has large, expansive decks for relaxing and socializing in warm weather. The majestic old growth Cottonwoods and pines offer privacy and solitude year round. All guest rooms have a personal fireplace, private bath, deck/balcony, flat screen cable television & wireless internet.

The Bentwood Breakfast
Our multi-course served breakfast begins with the warm aromas of fresh brewed coffee, a mosaic of seasonal fruit, homemade muffins and something sizzling on the griddle. Described as “hearty and sumptuous” by Frommer's Travel Guide, guests are treated to a different menu each morning. If your day requires an early start, we can provide everything needed for your excursion.
  • "Breakfast was outstanding, a nice selection of fruit, great coffee and a main course so good my wife pressured Lee to give her the recipe."

Wine and Cheese

Served in the early evening, a selection of cheeses from near and far, along with fresh fruits and vegetables and other special treats the chefs cook, can be enjoyed with a glass of wine while relaxing on our expansive porch or by the crackling  fire.

  • "The evening wine and cheese was an unexpected highlight of our stay.  We met all of the other guests and ended up sharing the Bistro Dinner together and a trail hike the next day."
