Item Description
Kente, is a type of silk and cotton fabric made of handwoven interwoven cloth strips native to Ghana. Kente comes from the word kenten, which means basket in the Asante dialect of Akan.
This beautiful ochre and ivory colored kente is 13.5 " wide and 42 feet long. Cut into strips and sewn together Kente cloth can make beautiful bedspreads, pillow covers, tapestries or clothing.
