Item Description
Enjoy two items in one lot from long-time Lion's Roar donor Eastern Sun Printworks: Tibetan Happiness Prayer Flags in 7 Rainbow Colors and a Sunshine Buddhas Blank Diary Journal Notebook.
Impermanence at its best! The tradition of torn edges or imperfectly raw cut fabric has been reproduced with the flags so that sun and wind activity create the most interesting frayed and worn effect. The rainbow colors of these flags dance on the wind to carry many blessings to all beings, near and far! You will receive a string of classic 'wind horse' prayer flags which are hand silkscreened on bright poly/cotton broadcloth fabric and stitched to a 12' nylon cord.
The blank journal book is graced with the image of Nancy's mixed medium artwork, "In a Field with the Sunshine Buddhas". The printed copy is permanently adhered to a sturdy cover with matching inside pages and sprayed with a fixative for durability. There are 50 blank sheets of 100% recycled text weight paper (that's 100 pages!) waiting for your personal journalling, sketches, and mementos.
Nancy Hamlin-Vogler of Eastern Sun Printworks works in her backyard studio, "surrounded by chirping birds and live oaks and luscious bromeliads, very near the Fountain of Youth Park, in St. Augustine, Florida."
Details:
Flags: Each flag is approximately 8”x6” and there are seven of them: red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise blue, royal blue, and violet.
Journal: The size is 8 1/2" x 7". The cover is 100# cover stock with an even more sturdy cardboard backing. The binding is wire-O to allow for total flatness when opened.
