Photographers create illusions based on reality. Everything we use, including the lens and camera choice, the simplicity of the composition and what we include or don't include in the photo, creates an illusion that answers a question: What do I want to show you?
In my landscape photography, I enjoy simplicity, shapes, lines and building a world into a picture that shows you what caught my attention. That's not the important part of photography. The important part happens after I hang my photos. At that point, what catches your attention is up to your imagination, and my images become yours.
