Item Description

Thi mini futon was created for busy parents to take their two or four legged children on the road with them. Just roll it up and put it into the accompanying bag. Then set the blankie down when you reach your destination, and your child is ready for an afternoon nappy.

Why it was created:

"I learned how to make a zabuton (Japanese floor pillows) while living with my aunt in Hiroshima over a summer break. She taught me the value of using every scrap to remake it into something useful.

The mini futon is a take on that-- I made the futon in the same way I was taught to make a zabuton but used prints that can create a teachable moment for parents and their children by featuring Japanese charaters or symbols. Hope you find some use with it!"-- Diane Matsuda

Machine wash cold to warm and shake it out before air drying. Dimensions: 34.5" x 42"
