A Day Away Kayak Tours serves kayakers visiting all areas of Central Florida. They offer the following kayak tours: Moonlight Tours, Sunrise & Sunset Tours, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge Tours, Manatee Encounter Tours, Silver River Tours, Private Refuge Tours and our specialty is Bioluminescent Tours.

They are within a reasonable driving distance to join any of their day or evening tours--Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Satellite Beach, Indialantic, Palm Bay, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, St Augustine, Jacksonville, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, St. Cloud, Winter Park, Winter Haven, Lakeland, Clermont, Oviedo, Sanford, Lake Mary, Deland, Apopka and surrounding areas, especially those close to the Space Coast, Walt Disney World Resorts, Sea World, or Universal Orlando Theme Parks.  If you plan to kayak in Florida, they are your gateway. 

A Day Away Kayak Tours offers tours seven days a week at various sites across Central Florida. Their base of operation is the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in East Central Florida, one of the most diverse estuaries in North America. Here they frequently encounter manatee, dolphin, alligator and a large variety of birds. They may also run into wild pigs and turkeys. While exploring the grass flats they often dig for clams, find sea horses, pipefish, various shells, stingray, horseshoe crabs, and other aquatic life.
