Item Special Note

One of the most explosive running backs at the collegiate level in recent memory, Saquon Barkley always knew New York was somewhere he wanted to play.

Born in the Bronx, Barkley and his family moved to suburban Pennsylvania in search of a good environment for Saquon to grow up. As a teenager, Barkley attended Whitehall High School in the football-crazy Lehigh Valley. While at Whitehall Barkley was a standout drawing the attention of many college scouts. After originally committing to Rutgers, Barkey would change course and take his talents to Happy Valley to enroll at traditional power, Penn State.

While at Penn State Barkley would set and surpass many Penn State football records. He holds the records for most career rushing touchdowns, in addition to most rushing yards by a freshman and a sophomore. On a national scale, Barkley was five different All-American teams in addition to being named Big Ten Offensive Player of the year & running back of the year in 2016 and 2017

After his dominance at the collegiate level, Barkley would forgo his senior season at Penn State and enter the NFL draft. In a loaded draft class, Barkley was projected as the top running back on the board and top 5 overall picks. With the second overall pick, the New York Giants made Saquon Barkley's NFL dreams a reality by selecting him to be their running back of the future. Paired with established stars such as Odell Beckham Jr. and Eli Manning, the Giants look to have one of the most explosive offensives in the NFL.

In his rookie season, Saquon Barkley did not disappoint rushing for over 1,300 yards (2nd In The NFL) and scoring 11 touchdowns. Not only did Saqoun excel rushing the football he also had over 90 receptions for over 700 yards and four touchdowns. For his only field performance, Saqoun Barkley was named NFL Rookie Of The Year, NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year, and Represented the NY Giants during the 2018 Pro-Bowl.
