Item Description
4 hand made hand built plates using a lowfire white earthenware clay. All plates are hand painted using black and blue underglazes. Plates are mounted onto a painted wooden board as a wall hanging piece.
Rowan Harrison is an award-winning Native American artist descended from the Navajo and Pueblo of Isleta people of New Mexico. He lives in California, where he practices the traditional hand-built method of ceramics, as well as painting, ink drawing, and music. Earlier this year he curated the group exhibition Protecting Mother Earth for the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, where he teaches ceramics.
