Two (2) 750 ML Magnums of Wine:

-(1) Magnum of 2015 Ezio Cabernet Sauvignon. Our flagship wine, named after Ezio Donati, the first born Donati in the New World. Rich aromatics of black cherry and earth, with lingering cherry and toast on the palate.

-(1) Magnum of 2011 Claret. Our most popular wine, the 2015 Claret features aromas of ripe strawberry and cocoa with notes of cherry and cola on the finish. A real crowd pleaser.

The Donati Family Vineyard
The Donati Family Estate Vineyard site enjoys a variety of soils from limestone to decomposed granite to clay loam, and access to the cooling ocean breezes of the Monterey Bay. Like much of southern Napa, Sonoma, and Monterey counties, Paicines has long warm days followed by cool nights.

"It's a lot cooler than people think it would be here", says Matt. "On the UC Davis scale of growing areas and heat where Region I is the coolest and V the warmest, Paicines is a cool Region II."

The vineyard is planted to various select clones of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Syrah, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc and Petit Verdot. Vine selections are carefully screened for viral diseases prior to planting, ensuring that the future of the vineyard is secure, and that vine health and fruit integrity remain intact from planting through harvest.

Bidder must be at least 21 years old. Please note, this is a fundraiser so there are no refunds and Templeton Education Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping and/or mailing. Winners are automatically contacted at the close of auction and your credit card will be processed within 48 hours. Please make sure in advance your credit card information is current and on file with Bidding for Good. Templeton Education Foundation reserves the right to reassign your item to the next highest bidder if payment is not made or pick up arrangement is not made within two weeks of close auction. 

Free delivery to North SLO County winners. Gift Certificates will be sent via certified mail. Bidder is responsible for shipping and handling fees and any additional insurance, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Note that wine shipping laws vary widely from state to state (e.g. shipping to Utah is prohibited).
