Item Description
Jim Barker was born and raised in Midland and attended school all the way through getting his degree from Northwood University. Upon graduation, he moved to Washington, DC where he spent a number of years working in the software industry until opening his own non-profit wine school and event business in 1999.
Being in the business of offering casual and intensive wine, beer and spirits courses allowed him to make a difference in those entering careers focused on the wine, beer and spirit industry. And, after 18 years of offering fun and unusual events in the DC area he relocated back to Midland. Now in Midland…Midland Impressions is his business to offer special events, consulting and more for area non-profits looking for assistance with their fundraising needs. He introduced the Circle Wine Garden and the Midland Food Truck Festival to Midland. And, now…his first golf ball sculpture!

Payment must be made, in full prior to pickup/removal.
Purchased property must be picked up/removed from the auction site within 5 business days of the auction. Property not picked up within ten (10) days of the auction, will result in the assessment of a $20.00 per day charge. After ten (10) days the property ownership shall revert to the City of Midland/DDA.
