-(1) Bottle of our Gold Medal Winner 2016 Petite Sirah 

Petite Sirah is a small berried, tightly clustered varietal on a vigorous vine that just loves Paso Robles. The wine is inky black, full bodied with crisp acids, pepper and spice. The 2013 Dark Star Petite Sirah won the prestigious Four Star Gold Award at the California Orange County Fair. The 2016 version is every bit as good.

-(1) Bottle of 2016 Anderson Road (Cab, Syrah, Petite Sirah Blend)

Anderson Road is a creative blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, at approximately 45%, 45% and 10%. This is a more challenging full bodied wine, made of three forceful varietals. It offers tannic structure from the Cabernet and Syrah, balanced by the focused acids of the Petite Sirah. This is not necessarily the wine for a novice, but it has consistently been one of our most popular blends, and sells out early. A side dish of beef or hard cheese will smooth out the tannins

Dark Star Cellars was established in 1994.  We focus on small lots of premium, hand-crafted wines.  Drop by and visit our spacious indoor tasting room and patio.  Dark Star is pet and family friendly.  Visit with our observation beehive, free range chickens and winery cats.  We are presently offering twenty wines, including two whites, a rosé and a port.  Taste eight for a ten dollar tasting fee.  Check the "events" page for our regular music events and parties.

Please note, this is a fundraiser so there are no refunds and Templeton Education Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping and/or mailing. Winners are automatically contacted at the close of auction and your credit card will be processed within 48 hours. Please make sure in advance your credit card information is current and on file with Bidding for Good. Templeton Education Foundation reserves the right to reassign your item to the next highest bidder if payment is not made or pick up arrangement is not made within two weeks of close auction. 

Free delivery to North SLO County winners. Gift Certificates will be sent via certified mail. Bidder is responsible for shipping and handling fees and any additional insurance, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Note that wine shipping laws vary widely from state to state (e.g. shipping to Utah is prohibited).
