Bev Silva is a mixed media collage artist who studied with local and nationally known artists, and enjoys experimenting on her own. She creates abstract landscapes, particularly urban scenes. An elected artist member of The Art League RI, and member of the AAM, Pawtucket Arts Collaborative and Warwick Center for the Arts, she exhibits frequently in group and open juried shows.

Taverna is one of several mixed media collages created by the artist following an inspiring trip to Greece. This piece is based on a photograph taken by the artist of a taverna at dusk. It was created with watercolor, found paper and painted papers.
