She is also an independent art curator, who put together the egg tempera exhibit, "Nature & Narrative," featured in April 2019 at the AAM. Savino has exhibited widely through the US and abroad.
The Purr is a mixed media painting, combining watercolor, egg tempera, and gold leaf on paper. Savino has drawn inspiration from such Italian Renaissance masters of narrative as Botticelli, Fra Angelico, and Fra Lippi, as well as her love of nature.
