Christina Beecher is an active trustee at the AAM, and especially loves helping the exhibition committee hang & light the Museum’s walls for their many shows. Earning her BFA in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Christina now paints full time.  Beecher participates in many local art galleries and holds numerous awards.  She also enjoys sharing her techniques with area art associations, and private students.

Brisk Nightfall is a quiet and intimate painting.   Beecher loves all of nature’s shapes, trees being among her favorite.  Glazed blues and golds are layered behind the dark tonal tree extending up the side of the work.  Thicker paint punctuates the setting sun to give focus.  Like much of her paintings, this work comes from her imagination along with years of studying the natural world.
