Item Description

Coldworked & Laminated Glass

Chain: 8", Pendant: 1" x 0.5" x 0.5"

Diane Chester-Demicco of Brookline, MA creates pendants that incorporate details of her larger coldworked glass sculpture. Also working in bronze and cast glass, she has exhibited her nature-inspired sculpture nationally including the AAM where she twice received a juror's award in its annual national juried exhibits.

Sunset Pendant is coldworked glass, a process that requires no heat. Three pieces of tinted glass have been laminated with an epoxy that is as hard as glass. The hole was drilled with a diamond drill and the pendant was sculpted with abrasive wet tools.
