Ready for a different kind of spring break this year?
Give yourself the time and space to feel calm, relaxed, present, and nourished by joining iBme at the Mindfulness Spring Break Retreat for Young Adults at the Seven Oaks Retreat Center in Virginia, March 7th - 11th, 2020. (Note: Also eligible for this offer are two soon-to-be-announced adult retreats: one in June and a second in October 2020.)
On this expert-led retreat, you’ll be guided to explore mindfulness in a beautiful mountain retreat center, and expand your ability to connect authentically with yourself and others. Participants will explore mindfulness, through both formal meditation periods and relational mindfulness activities. Together, we will develop our skills of focused concentration, introspection, compassion, and insight. Scientifically proven to build emotional resilience, inner strength and well-being, these practices support our capacity to connect authentically with ourselves and others.
Each day will primarily be held in silence and will include sitting and walking meditation, small group activities, movement and free time. Please come prepared to participate in all aspects of the retreat with curiosity and a willingness to engage with challenge.
The iBme retreat model is unique in that it allows participants to gain a level of insight into their own experience and heart felt connection with peers that may be only possible in a retreat setting.
Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (iBme) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of teens, parents, and professionals. Through mindfulness retreats, iBme helps participants cultivate awareness, compassion, and kindness for themselves, others, and the natural world.
Note: the successful bidder may substitute attendance at the above young adult retreat for one of iBme's adult retreats in 2020 if they so choose.
