4/5B - JOIN OUR BOOK CLUB & RELAX BASKET

Are you or is somebody you love a bookworm? Does your perfect pastime mean reading a good book in a relaxing atmosphere? If the answer is yes, then this basket will be a perfect gift for yourself or your loved one as the holidays are just around the corner.

With guidance from 4/5B teacher, Mrs. Orak, the wonderful students of 4/5B have shared their passion for reading by putting together a “book club” journal for you to enjoy. Each and every one of them have written a book review of their most favorite book with their own opinions of why they recommend their book of choice. You may also enjoy their artwork on the journal’s pages.

After enjoying the book reviews, you may want to continue the journal that 4/5B students have started. We have included a $50 gift card to Amazon so you can help yourself to some good books or e-books.

To top it all off, we have included a few unique items to make your reading time a relaxing pastime:

1.       An artisan Lavender soy wax candle by Waxxy & Co. of Orlando. It contains fresh lavender buds embedded in the wax and is infused with orange, lemon and cedarwood fragrance. The floral aroma becomes rounded and airy without being too floral or overpowering.

2.       A Hedwig (the white owl) ceramic mug from the Harry Potter series. The mug has a ceramic lid to keep your drink warm.

3.       Two sets of organic herbal teas:

• Tulsi Sweet Rose from Organic India contains tulsi (or holy basil), which is “The Queen of Herbs” in India due to its many benefits such as to aid stress relief, to uplift mood, as well as to support the immune system and the natural detoxification process. Its flavor profile resembles that of chai tea but in a much milder form, with a touch of rose.
• Cup of Sunshine from Traditional Medicinals contains kanna, which is native to South Africa, and honeybush to promote good mood. The taste profile is smooth and slightly sweet with honey roasted notes.

Item Special Note

This item will be available for pickup by the winning bidder at the end of Trivia Night on October 12th OR at Good Shepherd Catholic School beginning on Monday, October 14, 2019 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm in the front office. Shipping of an item will be at buyers cost and risk; but is not recommended for shipping due to weight of total items.
