2014 ALEXANDER VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON & A PRIVATE RESERVE TASTING FOR FOUR.

An opportunity to taste our tiny production estate Cabernet and learn about our vineyards in detail. This tasting includes six Cabernets in all, ranging from wine still in the barrel to special selections from the library and seasonal bites.

The best winery in Healdsburg lies off the beaten path. Just ten minutes from the Healdsburg Plaza, Hawkes has been growing Cabernet in the bucolic Alexander Valley since 1972 and now offers two private tasting options, one in the vineyard, one in our barrel room, both focused on our tiny production, Single Vineyard Cabernet.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon, blended from all three of our estate vineyards. 2014 is the last of the three vintages destined to be remembered as among the greatest ever for California Cabernet.There are so many things to love in 2014 Cabernet that it’s difficult to pick one. Tannin, maybe – the beautiful layered mouthfeel of this vintage. Its aromatic freshness – violets and fresh plums and blackberries. Perhaps the strongest impression left by the 2014 Cabernet is how well it represents the greatness of Cabernet Sauvignon in general – a wine that is exciting to drink in its youth at least partly because it promises so much more with age.

SHIPPING: GIFT CERTIFICATES are available for shipping! We do not ship anything that cannot be mailed in an envelope!

ALL OTHER ITEMS MUST BE PICKED up by Wednesday October 23, 2019 or will be donated back to the Sequoia Parents Club.
