Item Description

Photography

16.5" x 20.5" x 0.5"

Ellie Huntress was born and raised on the Southcoast of MA. In 2014 she received her BFA in Photography from UMass Dartmouth. She gains inspiration from all her surroundings, especially nature and our interactions with the natural world. Today she continues both conceptual and journalistic fine-art photography practices, and is happy to be employed as the Administrative Assistant at the AAM.

Through a desire to visualize human rituals, habits, and obsessions, Huntress creates surreal conceptual photos inspired by specific objects, colors, shapes, or even unobtainable thoughts or ideas. Grazing in the Grass is a photo from her 2014 thesis work, Constructing Reality.
