Nestled among the historic landscape of Southwestern New England, the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is a natural preserve like no other in this region. Visitors at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens discover the exceptional beauty of the property’s habitats, trails, gardens, majestic trees and plant collections. The Bartlett’s pristine and expansive, 93-acre property is a “living classroom” to many children and adults who enroll in classes and camp programs each year. New blooms and discoveries teem each season, inspiring visitors and students of all ages to cherish the earth’s resources and protect it for generations to come.

Jane von Trapp began her tenure as CEO of the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens in August 2014.  With more than 40 years of horticultural experience and having majored in Plant and Soil Science, Jane has authored three how-to landscaping books and is the U.S. researcher and writer for DK Publishing’s A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants.  Jane also has contributed to several magazines and books, including “Martha Stewart Living,” “This Old House Magazine,” and IDG’s Landscaping for Dummies.
