Item Description
Do you love the flavor and freshness of homegrown veggies but don’t have the space to grow your own? Tired of fighting the squirrels and deer for your favorite tomatoes? This United Way online auction item is a “share” of homegrown fruits and veggies from the 2020 garden of Dan Ruzicka. Your share will consist of 8 deliveries to the Chesterfield campus from April to October containing a week’s worth of produce including items such as lettuce, green beans, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, peppers, melons, and pumpkins. For example, a June delivery might contain two pounds of green beans, two heads of lettuce, a quart of strawberries, and a bunch of radishes. If you live in the Kirkwood-Glendale area, we can arrange delivery direct to your house and for pics of the 2019 harvest, search #QuanFarm on Instagram!
