Classes and Curriculum
The H2jOe Swimming curriculum provides one-on-one, group and parent/child classes to ensure that every swimmer gets to experience the water in a way that best suits their development. With a uniquely designed 10 level adaptable program, H2jOe will challenge swimmers of all ages to break through milestones - water safety, stroke development, competitive swimming, etc. - faster than a typical swim program, leaving everyone feeling safe, empowered and ready to jump back in for more!

H2jOe Swimming began in September 2018 by Joe DiRienzo, an instructor with over 7 years of water safety and competitive swim coaching under his belt. The idea was to perfect the way children and adults learned to swim, interact with the water, and feel empowered inside of a space that we can't always control.

Joe began teaching at Saf-T-Swim on Long Island where he learned what it meant to create a loving, inspiring space for new and old swimmers alike. Since, He's worked with swim programs around New York City to help support and bolster families looking to keep their children safe. He's worked with swimmers of all ages and has adapted his curriculum to meet the needs of everyone who gets in the water with him.

Currently, Joe's curriculum exists in residential buildings around Manhattan and he's developed a small team of instructors to implement his teachings to more families than ever! The goal - To take drowning off of the list of leading causes of death for children under 15! With the growing team of instructors, support from families around the city and the innovative curriculum, H2jOe Swimming is focusing on creating a school to streamline (pun intended) water safety and educate families on the importance of swimming competency in New York.
