Item Description
As we enter the holiday season, what better way to glamorize an outfit than with a lightweight scarf draped around your shoulders? This pair of dramatic acrylic scarves were hand-dyed with madder and weld by our amazing librarian, Joe Festa. The tie-dye patterns are inspired by shibori, a Japanese dyeing technique – the style of the wide one is called kumo shibori & the narow one is the itajime shibori. The wide scarf had a raw hem and the narrow scarf has a rolled hem.
An easy way to dress up any outfit!
First scarf (striped pattern) measures 78" long and 10" wide.
Second scarf (circular pattern) measures 100" long and 21" wide.
Item Special Note
Winning bidder assumes shipping or pick up costs.
