Item Description

Ever think about what it would be like if an Olympian showed up to your kid's birthday party? or joined your next youth team practice? Well now's your chance!

Bring out your family, friends and/or team to join Angela Ruggiero, a 4x Olympian, National Champion, and Hall of Famer on the ice at Bright-Landry Hockey Center. Learn how to skate, fine tune your hockey skills, or just relish the experience of sharing the ice with one of hockey's all time greats!

Afterwards enjoy time with Angela in the Boynton Lounge inside Bright-Landry Hockey Center (sounds like the ideal birthday party!). Angela will provide an Olympic souvenir for all to take home. Her four medals and Olympic torches might even make an appearance for some photo ops....

Please note, this must be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date. Blackout dates will occur, and will be scheduled around available ice time. Winner will get an hour of ice time for a group, and access to the Boynton Lounge afterwards.

A four-time Olympic medalist, Angela Ruggiero was a dominating force on the blueline throughout her 15-plus-year career with the U.S. Women’s National Team. She has played more games (256) in a Team USA uniform than any other ice hockey player in the country’s history.

Ruggiero helped the U.S. claim the first-ever gold medal awarded in women’s ice hockey in the Olympic Winter Games in 1998 as the youngest member of the team and went on to win three other Olympic medals (silver-2002, 2010; bronze-2006).

At Harvard, she was a four-time NCAA All-American, an Academic All-American, helped Harvard win the 1999 national championship and was awarded the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Trophy in 2004 as the top women’s ice hockey player in the NCAA.

In 2015, she was inducted in the Hockey Hall of fame, only the fourth women ever to receive that honor. She served on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athlete’s Commission, and was recently named to the Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40.
