Item Description
Hand Forged Steak Knives made to honor Lee Daly, longtime member of the Port Orchard Kiwanis Club, by his son Bill Daly using materials found on Lee's farm. Each handmade steak knife blade was lovingly crafted from the tines of Lee's hay rake which Lee had used on his farm in Port Orchard on Madrona Road for almost the past 60 years. After carefully hand-forging each knife, they were fitted using the Madrona wood from his farm as handles and treated with a food-grade oil stain. The accompanying carrying cloth was handmade and embroidered by Steve and Peggy Hohnstein in honor of Steve's father, also a lifelong Kiwanis member from Southern California. This very special, one-of-a-kind, custom-made item, honoring Lee's decades long service to this Kiwanis club is something you don't want to miss!
