Reid Park Zoo’s mission is “to encourage human commitment to the conservation of biological diversity and to provide educational and fun experiences for visitors of all ages.”

The Zoo, founded in 1965 with a collection of birds, prairie dogs, farm animals, and a few squirrel monkeys, has expanded to a 17-acre campus that houses hundreds of animals in naturalistic exhibits and annually hosts nearly 500,000 visitors. Reid Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

To be accredited, zoos must undergo a thorough investigation to ensure that they have met, and will continue to meet, ever-rising standards. These standards encompass animal care, veterinary programs, conservation, education, and safety. AZA requires zoos and aquariums to successfully complete this rigorous accreditation process every five years.

Item Special Note

Winner must pick up at our main studios during regular business hours, 220 S 4th Avenue, Tucson AZ 85701, or it can be mailed at no charge.

Certificate must be redeemed at the RPZS membership booth at the Zoo by 31 December 2020. Once redeemed, membership is good for one year.

* Make sure you have your membership card and ID with you for entry and show before any purchases as the gift shop or Cafe. There is a $5 charge for card reprints and to change names on the account.
