Item Description
This gorgeous piece is a hand-built stoneware vessel that has been triple-glazed using a wax resist method technique. The artist uses this specific decorative technique, freely creating her own patterns and designs to create a unique piece. All of Chloe's pieces are one of a kind.
Chloe Sikirica obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from SUNY New Paltz, NY and her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art and Art Education from New York University.
Throughout her education, organic shapes and forms found in nature inspired her, and she has maintained this visual language in her current work. She is drawn to natural organic patterns that form by themselves without human manipulation.
