Item Description
Nestled in the forest, enjoy this comfortably appointed, log cabin retreat of a local artist. Savor the quiet. Create, invent, recreate, OR, host your family or hold a house concert for 20. Maybe a dinner party for 8?
The living area is infused with daylight and overlooks the forest. The nights are dark and starry. Out the back door—hiking, birding, wildlife, fishing.
The house sleeps six people in three bedrooms (a king, full, and bunk bed); two full bathrooms; a fully equipped, modern kitchen; and a great room with dining area. The decks out back are perfect for greeting the day. To enrich your stay: a baby grand piano, WiFi, a film projector and screen, outdoor seating.
Bring your road bike or mountain bike, there are lightly trafficked country roads, and trails a short ride or drive away, including the nearby Nashua River Rail Trail.
A marked path behind the cabin leads to the abutting Jeff Smith Trail, a 7-mile trail going up into New Hampshire, passing Heald Pond, perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking.
A paddling outfitter and skydiving center are nearby.
