Allison Foley, is a Certified Teacher of the Alexander Technique. Devoted to movement her entire life, as a dance maker and as educator, Allison brings 15 years of experience to teaching the Alexander Technique. She was a faculty member in the Physical Education Department at Barnard College for 10 years, where she originated the Alexander Technique program. She also taught group classes and individual lessons to faculty, staff, and students from both Barnard College and Columbia University.
The Alexander Techniqu3 helps you change habits that influence everything you do. It offers a practical approach to making positive change in the way you function. As you learn to observe and experiment with the way you move, think, and breathe in all that you do, your life improves in the most fundamental way—sitting, standing, walking, bending, and speaking happen more easily.
