2018 Silver Medal Readers' Favorite Children's Social Issues Mom's Choice Award Winner Lily and Niko Rabbit’s childcare class is at the elementary school science fair when a tornado warning happens. They learn how a tornado looks like an elephant trunk and sounds like a train. They also learn where they can go to be safe. When they find out the tornado damaged a neighbor’s house, they come together to help in their own charming way.

Hurricane Vacation

Just Released 10 November 2019! Preschoolers Lily and Niko get a crash course on how to handle the unexpected when their vacation changes from sand castles and swimming to lessons in hurricane preparedness. But as the kids prepare to evacuate with their cousin Emma and her family, Niko’s favorite stuffy gets lost. Will they find him in time to evacuate safely? Or will this fuzzy family member get left behind?

Lions Leopards and Storms Oh My!

Mom's Choice Award Winner Lily and Niko Rabbit are at childcare when the weather changes and a thunderstorm strikes. One of the children’s parents is a meteorologist and he talks with the children about thunderstorms. They learn about severe weather events like thunderstorms and what conditions these events can bring, like lightning, hail, and winds. They also learn what to do to stay safe.

Tummy Rumble Quake

2018 Bronze Medal Readers' Favorite Children's Social Issues Mom's Choice Award Lily and Niko Rabbit’s childcare class is practicing for the Great ShakeOut. They learn that the Great ShakeOut helps prepare them for an earthquake. They also learn the basics of what causes an earthquake and how it causes things to fall and break. It also can sound like a really loud tummy rumble.

Item Special Note

This item will be auctioned during the live auction to support the IAEM Scholarship Program. The live auction will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 6:00-7:30 p.m. on the stage in the back of the EMEX exhibit in the Savannah Convention Center. Winning bidders may pick up items at the auction and pay using cash, check or credit card.

To participate in the auction, you will need to register to bid. Stop by the IAEM Silent Auction Booth beginning Monday morning to register for your auction paddle. You may also register in the auction area immediately before the auction.
