Item Description
Light Works #1 Earrings by David Howell & Co., Featured at the Guggenheim Museum Store
The prefabricated fluorescent light fixture became an element in contemporary art -- through the work of such artists as Dan Flavin and Robert Irwin. Its utilitarian form allowed these artists to explore light without focusing on structure. These earrings pay homage to this fixture and the art it inspired.
For more than 30 years, David Howell & Company have specialized in the design/manufacturing of museum quality, bookmarks and jewelry. All products are produced in the U.S., adhering to strict environmental standards.
