Own your own piece of American Folk Art. This is a wonderful print of a very old needlepoint sampler containing the 3 styles of the alphabet 2 having missing letter. Numbers 1-9. The lower section Reads: Eveline Freeman Wheeler August 19, 1824 Age 9. Morristown Love Peace. The top center has a nest with baby birds being fed by their mother. There are vines along the side and a woman with her long blue dress and a parasol on one side. The other side has a period dressed man with a beard. The lower section shows a large building or possibly a stately home with trees. Great addition to a real collection of antique needle points or other textile arts collections.
